Create, send, and manage quotes for your customers.
Quote Management
Quotes are formal pricing proposals sent to customers or received from suppliers.
Quote Types
| Type | Direction | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Sales Quote | You → Customer | Pricing you propose to a customer |
| Purchase Quote | Supplier → You | Pricing a supplier proposes to you |
Creating a Sales Quote
- Navigate to Quotes
- Click New Quote
- Select the customer
- Add line items (products, quantities, prices)
- Set validity period and payment terms
- Review and send
Quote Lifecycle
A quote follows this status flow:
Draft → Sent → Viewed → Accepted/Rejected
- Draft: Being prepared, not yet sent
- Sent: Delivered to the customer
- Viewed: Customer has opened the quote
- Accepted: Customer approved — can convert to order
- Rejected: Customer declined
Converting to Order
When a quote is accepted:
- Open the accepted quote
- Click Convert to Order
- Review order details
- Confirm the conversion
The order is automatically created with all quote details.
