Frequently Asked Questions
General
What is Gloyd?
Gloyd is an end-to-end B2B platform for buying and selling: RFQs, quotes, orders, and delivery tracking in both directions, with customer and supplier portals under your own brand. It works for any B2B trade; electronics is the flagship vertical with its own depth pack.
Who can use Gloyd?
OEM manufacturers, EMS providers, distributors, and industrial suppliers can use Gloyd. The platform supports both buying and selling workflows.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required, with all features of the plan you choose. Sign up self-serve at app.gloyd.com/signup. If you haven't added a card by the end of the trial, your workspace pauses until you add one; nothing is deleted and there is no automatic downgrade.
Account & Setup
How long does account setup take?
Minutes. Sign-up is self-serve — create your workspace at app.gloyd.com/signup and the onboarding wizard walks you through organization details, branding, and your first contacts. No sales call required.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Gloyd uses schema-based multi-tenant architecture. Each organization's data is stored in an isolated database schema, completely separated from other organizations.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. Bulk data import from Excel/CSV files is supported. Contacts, products, and price lists can be easily imported.
Portal
What is the customer portal?
The customer portal is a self-service platform where your customers can submit RFQs, review quotes, and track their orders.
Can the portal be customized?
Yes. You can add your own logo, colors, and welcome message to your portal. Custom subdomains are also available.
How many portal users can I add?
As many as you need. Portal users are unlimited and free on every plan — only platform seats for your own team are counted. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Integrations
Which ERP systems does Gloyd work with?
ERP integrations (Logo, Netsis, Mikro, SAP, and others) are first on Gloyd's public roadmap, planned as an Enterprise add-on — they are not live yet. Today, Gloyd connects to other systems through HMAC-signed O2O webhooks and CSV/Excel import/export. See integrations for current status.
Is there API access?
A public developer API is on the roadmap, but it is not available yet. In the meantime, you can move data in and out with CSV/Excel import/export, and O2O webhooks push signed events for documents exchanged with connected companies.

Concepts
What is an RFQ?
RFQ (Request for Quotation) is the document that opens a B2B deal: you list the items and quantities you need and send it to one or more suppliers, who respond with priced quotes. In Gloyd, one RFQ can go to many suppliers at once, and each recipient's sent / viewed / responded status is tracked separately.
What is O2O?
O2O (organization-to-organization) is Gloyd's company-to-company connection: when both sides use Gloyd, an RFQ, quote, or order sent by one side is automatically created in the other side's workspace — no re-keying. Each company keeps and manages its own copy; live status sync between the copies is on the roadmap.
How is a portal different from a marketplace?
A marketplace lists your products next to your competitors' and owns the customer relationship, usually charging per order. A portal is the opposite: your customers and suppliers sign in at your own address (yourcompany.gloyd.com), see only your brand and only their own documents, and no commission is involved.
